2 years of updates

Most of the following photos are from various research projects being conducted at either Belle Isle Marsh or other sites in Massachusetts. All birds are handled with State and Federal permits for Research.

This American Woodcock was banded on the same day as this re-capture the previous year, on February 20th. This male is back early to set up his territory. Neat ! 
Male American Kestrel 
Saltmarsh Sparrow research is one of the primary research focuses at Belle Isle marsh. We are looking to better understand site fidelity and dispersal of this quickly disappearing species.
