Red-tailed Hawk

"Brown face, "  a very dark Western morph Red-tailed Hawk  I have been watching on the Island for 6 years finally made an appearance in the new yard. The bird managed to catch a Willet which we watched it rip to pieces on a neighbors house. ( pretty brutal )

Winthrop Beach

A few Pictures from yesterday. Some of the Plover chicks and the first round of Least Tern chicks have fledged.
